Subject of the Visit: Courtesy and Appreciation Visit to the Consulate General of Sudan and Felicitations on the Occasion of Independence Day

In conjunction with the ongoing preparations at the Consulate General of the Republic of Sudan for the celebration of the Glorious Independence Day, His Excellency Al-Sharif Yasser bin Mohammed Al-Ayafi, Chief Executive Officer of Arabian Sarinova Holding Company, and Dr. Tariq Al-Atta Al-Ahmadi, Chairman of the Board of Arabian Sarinova, Vice Chairman of Mada Business Holding Group, Chief Executive Officer of the Sudanese Renaissance Organization for Peace and Sustainable Development, and its International Advisor, paid a courtesy and appreciation visit to the Consulate General of the Republic of Sudan in Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The delegation was graciously received by His Excellency Ambassador Kamal Ali Osman Taha, Consul General of the Republic of Sudan, who extended a warm welcome, expressing his appreciation and devoting part of his valuable time to the visit, despite it not being scheduled in advance. This gesture reflected the authentic Sudanese generosity, sense of responsibility, and exemplary institutional communication.

During the meeting, His Excellency the Consul General commended the pivotal and active role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since the outbreak of the war in Sudan, particularly its early efforts to support initiatives aimed at halting the conflict and preserving Sudan’s unity, security, and stability. He also highlighted the Kingdom’s humanitarian initiatives, including its contribution to the evacuation of a significant number of Sudanese families, a testament to the deeply rooted humanitarian values of the Kingdom, its leadership, and its generous people.

His Excellency emphasized that these noble positions are founded upon the strong historical and fraternal ties between the two brotherly countries, noting that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia—its leadership, government, and people— has consistently stood by Sudan through all the challenges it has faced.

He also expressed profound appreciation for the esteemed status of His Majesty the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud – may God protect him – in the hearts of the Sudanese people, affirming the deep respect and admiration he enjoys. He further noted that His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, is recognized as a visionary leader whose contributions have had a significant impact in supporting stability, peace, and development at both regional and international levels.

In another segment of the meeting, Dr. Tariq Al-Atta Al-Ahmadi briefly outlined the importance of strengthening institutional coordination with the department responsible for investment and bilateral trade at the Consulate General, particularly in connection with efforts to redirect qualitative investments to Sudan and stimulate trade exchange, thereby supporting economic recovery pathways and achieving sustainable development.

The meeting also reviewed aspects of the major efforts undertaken by the Sudanese Renaissance Organization for Peace and Sustainable Development inside Sudan, including the organization’s successful Conference on Combating Drugs and the Treatment and Rehabilitation of Addiction Cases held in Ad-Damer, the capital of Nile River State, which was immediately followed by the “Drug Awareness Week” initiative implemented through its regional offices in primary and secondary schools across several Sudanese states, reflecting the organization’s social responsibility and preventive awareness role.
