The Threads of War in Sudan… A Struggle of Interests Without Innocence
The truth about the war in Sudan no longer requires much analysis or speculation. The picture has become glaringly obvious, impossible to conceal behind any diplomatic narratives. The war that has destroyed cities and displaced millions of innocent people is the direct result of external hands that manipulate and plan, and local forces that execute and destroy, without so much as a flicker of conscience in the face of spilled blood and a collapsing country.
It has become evident to anyone with eyes that the United States has never been far from this devastation. It directs the scene from afar, employing proxies and activating instruments of pressure, all while pretending to be a mediator concerned with peace. The truth is that Washington views Sudan as nothing more than a card in its balance of interests—not a country deserving of respect, nor a people deserving of life. Decades of sanctions, a suffocating economic blockade, and decisions renewed whenever Sudan begins to lift its head… this is no accident or accumulation of errors, but a deliberate policy aimed at keeping the country under control.
What is happening today is no exception. The war has turned into an open arms market: America manufactures and extorts, the UAE buys and distributes, and militias execute and destroy. This dirty chain of interests is not a cold political analysis; it is a stark reality witnessed daily by the Sudanese people, denied only by the fearful, the blind, or those benefiting from the chaos.
While Washington pulls the strings, Abu Dhabi has become the arm that hesitates at nothing in funding destruction. Every step, every shipment, every support, indicates a systematic project to prolong the war, turning Sudan into an easy prize for anyone seeking influence or arms markets, or political leverage.
In contrast, Sudanese people recognize that Saudi Arabia’s stance is entirely different. The Kingdom is not a state seeking to destroy or divide Sudan; it knows the historical ties with the country and works—regardless of differing positions—to extinguish the crisis, not ignite it. That is why the Saudi King met directly with Trump: he knows where real decisions are made and who holds the “lever” that opens and closes the doors of devastation.
As for Trump’s or others’ statements, no matter how loud or reassuring, they mean nothing as long as the UAE can increase its gifts and buy influence. Today’s words may be erased tomorrow, and positions are bought and sold like any commodity in the marketplace of international politics.
Sudan has been ruined because external hands found local agents who did not hesitate for a moment to sell their country for the lowest prices. They did not sell for a national project, nor for the people’s interest, but for false power, dirty money, or loyalty to agendas unrelated to Sudan or its future.
This war was not fate; it was manufactured. The devastation was not the result of a simple internal conflict, but of a network of international and regional interventions and armies of agents who turned their homeland into kindling for others’ fires.
Sudan will not rise unless these hands are cut off, the voice returns to the people of the country, the doors of external control are closed, and everyone who has turned the nation into a bargaining chip for others is expelled.
